Usage

Aprender is one of the most fundamental verbs in Spanish. Use "aprender a + infinitive" for learning skills (aprender a conducir, aprender a cocinar), and "aprender + noun" for subjects or content (aprender vocabulario, aprender historia). It is formal and neutral across all registers.
