Usage

Conseguir is a stem-changing verb (e → i). It's one of the most common verbs in Spanish for expressing both obtaining something concrete (conseguir un libro) and achieving goals (conseguir aprobar un examen). Often followed by an infinitive: "conseguir hacer algo" (to manage to do something). Avoid confusing with "obtener" (more formal for obtaining) or "lograr" (more emphatic for achieving).
