Usage

Traer is highly common and irregular (traigo, trae, traen). Often confused with llevar (to take/carry away); traer focuses on movement toward a point, llevar on movement away. In reflexive form (traerse), it can mean "to bring with oneself" or "to be up to (something)"-e.g., "¿Qué te traes?" (What are you up to?).
