Usage
Often used with an indirect object pronoun (me agrada, lhe agrada, etc.). Common construction: "agradar a alguém" (to please someone). When meaning "to like," it works opposite to English: the thing liked is the subject, and the person is the indirect object (O filme me agradou = The film pleased me = I liked the film).
