Usage

Escrever is a regular -ER verb. Common in both formal and informal contexts. Often collocated with direct objects (escrever uma carta, um livro, um artigo). The reflexive form "escrever-se" is less common but can mean "to be spelled." Present tense: escrevo, escreves, escreve, escrevemos, escrevem.
