Unique to Portuguese, the personal infinitive adds endings to the infinitive when each subject performs the action:
eu falar, tu falares, ele falar, nós falarmos, vós falardes, eles falarem
Common after prepositions: antes de chegarmos, para vocês entenderem. It clarifies who is doing what when subjects differ.
